The men’s ministry is focused on encouraging men of all ages to be “men after God’s own heart”, by seeking first God’s kingdom in their personal lives and for their families. The men’s ministry hosts a men’s bible study, activities and events to strengthen our bonds as brothers in Christ.

New Hope Family Ministry

New Hope Family Ministry is a program that offers families the opportunity to learn and grow together in faith through Bible Study, projects and activities.

Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry at New Hope exists to stand with you in faith and Hope. Our team is committed to praying for the needs of our church, our community and beyond - believing God hears and responds.

Revolution Dance and Performing Arts

Director: Pastor Victoria Castaños

Revolution’s mission is to train up people of all ages who will impact the world with God’s power and love through the arts. Classes are open to students of all skill levels from ages four to adult, and serves as an effective training ground for worship through the arts, and is a unique outreach to the community. Grace and Gains (Fitness and Fellowship Ministry)

Leaders: Joshua Castanos and Michael Solares

Grace and Gains is a faith and fitness ministry rooted in Romans 12:1 - “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice.” We believe caring for our bodies is an act of worship and gratitude to God. Through movement and fellowship we strengthen our bodies, as well as our community to serve longer and stronger as His chosen vessels to bring God’s kingdom here on earth.

Worship Ministry

Leaders: Enrique and Kimberly Lucatero

The worship team at New Hope leads the music and singing for our English and Spanish services on a weekly basis, as well as special conferences and events; The goal is to set an atmosphere of praise to our God that will lead the worshipper into deeper levels of freedom and intimacy with Jesus Christ.

Benevolence Ministry

Leaders: Francisco and Gilda Solares

New Hope serves the needy and less fortunate of the Downey area as well as in Mexico and Central America through monetary, food and clothing donations. At Christmas time each year, New Hope serves over two thousand hot meals and provides clothing for the homeless on Skid Row of Los Angeles, as well as participates in providing toys and necessities to the children of other countries by partnering with Samaritans Purse, Operation Christmas Child.

Next Generation Ministries

Director: Joshua Castanos

Children’s Ministry (New Hope Kidz): we are dedicated to raising up the next generation of Christ followers who are learning to walk in their purpose, while building their faith to fulfill the call of God on their lives.

Youth Ministry (No Days Off) New Hope believes that young people are the life-blood of the church and must be encouraged to live a life of consistency and balance in Christ. The name “No Days Off” is a constant reminder to young people that life with Christ is a daily commitment of devotion to stand for Him, no matter what challenges the world may bring. Our mission is to ignite their faith and instill a solid foundation in Jesus Christ through ministry to their needs, activities, discussion, bible study, service opportunities and community.

Missions

As a multiethnic church, New Hope highly values missions and ministry beyond our United Stated boarders, and has been dedicated to supporting those who have answered the call to international missions and ministry work in connection with independent missionaries as well as organizations such as Iris Global Ministries, Zoe International and Youth With A Mission.
